The Sixaxis controller first introduced in 2006 have giroscopic motion sensors built in - just like the iPhone.

Motion sensing technology is so last decade

Wait... do THEY have guns or are you using a gun to kill THEM?

    It's an important distinction.

Also, random off-topic question: Why are there no female enemies?

I don't know what that is and woke up at various points throughout the night scared about my fantasy football team. Down by 7 with 1 player left, he has none. GO ME. Or something.

First two Arkham Games - Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn. I'm sure I've assassinated atleast one female in atleast one of the Assassins Creed games (even if it was an accident/random passer-by - scrap that, it was on purpose. Those bloody annoying begger women.)

I remember these! Someone modified some Logitech drivers so they could be plugged in to a PC as a webcam, that was a great bit of tinkering to get working.

Playstation Eye was a camera, not motion sensor. The camera didn't do much for your games in reality compared to say playstation move/nintendo wii/kinect

Kinda true, but not quite. Bear in mind we're talking PS2 days here - so predates Kinect by some. Sure it was very low res, poor quality and almost nobody other than Sony ever developed for it. But I do remember playing one or two party games on my sisters one. I remember something about cleaning windows? You'd wave your arms to wipe the soap suds off the screen. The Eye never needed the move controllers for motion sensing - they were just a lot more arcurate with them. Sure Kinect is the better tech if you like that sort of thing. Personally I'd rather sit on the couch with the DualShock controller.

But software using the camera could sense motion and track objects.

Move and the PSeye evolved from this earlier idea. You specifically mentioned MS fanboys saying Sony copied MS, the idea was implemented along time ago. Its alot easier with modern computers and specialist hardware.

I am not denying the camera was the precursor, but they had the chance for the PS3 to make a sensor bar (like the Wii/kinect) and be ahead of the game and have MS fanboys in a rage. Unfortunately they developed the Move and Six-Axis. Whilst Six-Axis I think should be licenced for all consoles as its a cracking piece of kit, the move should be dropped, and a sensor bar developed. That way they can have things like the kinect on the PS4.

Well you could argue that the new PS4 Eye is exactly that - a motion sensor bar not tied to Move, it is the Kinect on PS4. Personally I don't see what the fuss is about. Everyone I've ever met who has owned PSEye/Move/Wii/Kinnect has used is barely a dozen times and then collects dust.
