Looking at current gen consoles available from new I'd be pleasantly surprised if they went for more than 500Gb initially. Wii-U has a pitiful 32Gb at the top end. Ouya is rumored to come with an 8Gb flash?!? PS3 Slim is 12Gb SSD or 500Gb, and the 360 at 250Gb (according to a quick Amazon search).

That said I've been running my PS+ account for about 3-4 months now and my 500Gb hard drive is starting to look tight.

Damn, you! I was just about to type that! Most PS+ games I've been downloading of late have been in the 8-20Gb region. Not filling up the current 25Gb discs.

True, but I've always assumed [perhaps wrongly] that the only reason the bluray disks aren't maxed out is because Xbox doesn't use them. Making a 25gb game for one system then having to cut it down to fit on DVD disks seems like a waste of time.

Not having owned a 360 since the HD-DVD drive was dropped - Do any 360 games come on multiple DVD's? (Like FF VII on the PS1).

Possibly. Google isn't really helping too much.

[off-topic] What's Deadspace like? I've never played it. [I just ordered the PC version of Deadspace 3 for my uncle as a late Christmas present.]

I have not played it but reviews say its the worst in the series.
I use Kotaku and Gametrailers for my reviews.
    They could be wrong.

Deadspace on console with surround sound is great, Deadspace 2 is alright but no where near as good, haven't bothered with three yet as they have gone all angry birds on it and they can keep it. Alan Wake is another good one and the original Bioshock is good too.

From the sounds of it, it'll be built-in.

    But, think about it.

    Mandatory internet connection.
    Mandatory camera.

I can see Microsoft having something to scan the room/gamer to create targeted ads... Or even, check it's the same person playing.[/Tin-Hat]
