Rep Power: 12 | The Matrix Online. I'm in game on the Output server playing a guy called NinjaBeaver. £18 off of www.play.com for the game, and about £7 a month. It's quite cool but getting a bit repetitive at the moment. It's a new one on the scene so i'll give it another month to improve. |

![]() | I *think* I read the world is a bit of a "beta" stage atm... they'll be adding stuff over the coming months (or longer) i believe. Cheers, Nath |

Rep Power: 12 | Yeah, sort of. Sony Online (SOE) have just purchased the game from Monolith, so I might hang on a bit with it. I'm quite tempted to go for EQ2 or WoW and also buy Guild Wars because theres no subscription on that. What's your opinion on the best out of WoW and EQ2 seeing as I'm an Ultima Online fan (on the free shards)? Big into R P G's. Just finished the new Bard's Tale, worth a laugh but not the £30 asking price and not really an RPG more a fantasy topdown Gauntlet type game. |

Blog Entries: 1 Rep Power: 67 | WoW is all about the PvP. EQ2 is a PvE game. So it basically boils down to what you want to do? Smash other peoples heads in or smash computer generated bad guys heads in? |

Rep Power: 12 | EQ2 is really taking my fancy at the moment. I like the R P G element in online games. Being able to craft and fight is cool. EQ2 is more fantasy based as well with non-cartoony graphics. |

![]() | @Alex: It blew me away! I wish I had started "from the start" as it was a bit too boggling and deep for me. Was the Exodus good btw? N. |

Rep Power: 0 | Exodus was good, but has a few issues - hopefully addressed by the 'Cold War' patch released today - brings in dreadnaughts freighters, outpost stations, missile changes - lots & lots of stuff. I take it you stopped playing? |

![]() | Unfortunately yes.... I did enjoy it to a degree but it was just a bit overwelming really and I just didnt feel like I was doing anything lol Just doing the missions from the ...er... guides (or whatever they are called) but that was it (i.e. dumping garbage, taking on "10p warriors", that sort of thing) and being a busy sort in the evening, I just didnt have the time for it. Especially when FF XI came out over here, I had to try that and got into that much more - tho i only play it a few nights a month lol - so as soon as I started to pay for FF, I had to turn in the towel with Eve Online... Shame really but dont earn enough to play both "every-now-and-then" sadly. Guild Wars tho is another matter.... being no subscription - I may take up that as I played a beta weekend and really enjoyed it. If theres no subscription then there's no "having to play it coz you're spending money on it each month" type thing - plus its really good if ya like this sorta game. £17.99 - bargain (on Play I think as I havent got it ...yet) Cheers Nath |

Rep Power: 12 | Ok, I've went for EQ2 in the end. Got the limited edition off of E-Bay for £20. £30 in shops for standard version. My character from the Trial of the Isle was still there so I've carried on with him. Anyways, if you guys are playing my characters name is Aughard and I'm on the EU Server called Runnyeye. I'm still a lvl 9 noob but having a load of fun learning and playing. Compared to MxO this rocks. MxO is going to have to be cancelled. |
