Sophos causes slow Live Migration in Failover Cluster environment.
I'm hoping someone with a Hyper-V Failover Cluster environment has already solved this problem and can point me in the right direction.
Our cluster consists of three 2008 R2 Hyper-V hosts running multiple 2008 R2 VMs. Sophos Enterprise Console v220.127.116.11 is installed on a 2008 R2 VM and Sophos Endpoint Security v9.5 is installed on all physical and virtual servers. Everything works well except when Live Migrating VMs from one Host to another.
When Sophos on-access scanning is disabled on the Host servers, Live Migrating a VM completes quickly (under 2 mins). However, when Sophos on-access scanning is enabled, Live Migrating a VM takes much longer (over 6mins).
I have added the following Microsoft recommended exclusions but the problem still exists...
Anyone got any ideas? Sophos support are being no help whatsoever... :boom:
