Anyone got any other ideas?
I have just created another mailbox and assigned users all the usual access in 3 locations but the error still remains :(
We you able to get this sorted out? I am having the exact same issue and have been scouring the web to no avail. :(
Nope. Just updated to SP3 and still has the same issue.
I need to re-add the email address in Outlook 2010 everytime.
My gut instinct is because I have separated the pupils Address Lists from the staff, then there is issues with it :(
So you haven't changed any of your address lists and created new global address lists?
Do you hide any of your email accounts from the GAL?
My set up is so basic. . . 45 email address, 1 is a postmaster account (is also a catch-all).
While I am in my Outlook 2010, I want to be able to forward mail that comes to the postmaster as a result of the "catch-all" to the correct party.
It's annoying to have to remove and re-type every time, and why should I have to? I know you know what I mean.
I wanted to set/verify my setting so I ran these:
Give user full mailbox rights:
Add-MailboxPermission -Identity $mailbox -User $user -AccessRights 'FullAccess'
Give user send-as rights to mailbox:
Add-ADPermission -Identity $mailbox.DisplayName -User $user -ExtendedRights 'Send-as'
Everything I have done so far says it should be working as EMS tells me "The appropriate access control entry is already present on the object"
I've seen other blogs about this same issue with no resolve. However, I see that we are the only two that figured out removing the address and re-typing is a valid work around - a pain in the a*s, but still a work around.
I'll keep searching. . . and if/when I find something, I will be sure to come back here to let you know. :o
i am curious to know what those EMS commands do for you. let me know if you run/ran them.
I did mine through the EMC and not the shell. I assigned Full Access, SendAs and Send on behalf of.
Does ti work from OWA?
https://mail.blehblahbleh.co.uk/owa/...blahbleh.co.uk and sent 3 emails straight after each other and they all sent ok
So it works via OWA, just not Outlook?
Have you tried in online mode again? Delete the OST & OAB files thrn configure online mode.
