How do you remove SCCM components from Windows XP?

I'e just been dumped with a laptop that has former belonged to a (now retired) teacher and was allowed to keep it. It's a decent spec, but has been centrally managed using SCCM with a whole raft of other nuisances (if you are to use it for home use that is) which I have been removing (often manually). The last hurdle is SCCM. Can anyone tell me how you remove the client and components manually? I can't seem to find the ccmsetup.exe file to uninstall it correctly and I really don't want to wipe and re-do all of the email etc.
Any help?

Personally I'd re-Image it so it is nice and clean.

ccmsetup.exe is in c:\windows\system32\ccmsetup for 2007 and c:\windows\ccmsetup for 2012

you'll need to run with the cmd /uninstall

However this doesn't always get rid of it.

ccmclean will do 80% of the time, it still works on the latest versions despite not being supported. You might need to stop wmi, remove the wmi repo and restart wmi once removed for the last 20% of machines, even if it does take a few goes.
