    Lync for a helpdesk

Got the phone setup all done, but is there a way to setup a single IM identity that would go to more than one person?

Lync doesn't support IM to response groups AFAIK without 3rd party software.

These guys have a good piece of software for call centers. :-) might be a bit too much for what you want but I understand it is reasonably priced.

The phones they have are also very cool!!

One thing you might want to keep in mind is that if you intend on using Lync for desktop sharing (to remotely fix issues) you have to get the user to click on any UAC prompts (unless you turn off UAC compleatly).
