Change the default address list when a user opens the Exchange address book?

    Hi,

Is it possible so when a user opens up the Exchange address book that it displays a custom address list rather than the Global Address List please? We could like something we can push out centrally.

    We are running Exchange 2010 SP2 RU2.

    Thanks

I know if you use a PRF file to configure Outlook you can tell it to use a certain address book rather than the GAL, not sure how as we have moved to a manged Exchange setup and Outlook 2010 does all the auto discover now so we no longer use the old PRF. I will have a dig when in the office tomorrow and see if I can find anything.

I've gone down the route of new GALs, which have a separate list at the root, but staff can then delve further in to get at the students, or just type the student username in. Seems to work quite well
