Hi all, having a bit of bother with SCCM's power management.
We run SCCM's enforced power management policy across our Win7 network which works great to put PCs into hibernation when not in use. However we are having problems with a few PCs that once they go to sleep, the network card doesn't wake back up. It requires a complete shutdown of the PC in order to get connected to the DCs and File Server properly. We've even gone as far as turning off the power save mode on the NIC itself on these particular PCs.
PCs affected are a mix of Dell360s and Dell790s.
My question is this, is there a way to implement SCCM's power management without shutting power off to the network card? Would enabling WoL do this?
