    Backup Exec 12.5 How to import media that is aBKF file

    Hi;

    Thanks for the help so far with my power cut incident.

    Everything nearly up and running now.

    I have something thta I thought to be esy but completely flommuxed me.
    I have had a server that was running backup exec 12.5 that has tonight crashed.
    It backs up everyday (incredmental and complete) on a NAS through Backup Exec 12.5 as a BKF file

    I want to restore this to another server so the students can log into thier work area tomorrow.

    I have another server running backup exec 12.5...I can't for the life of me work out how to import this backup set on disk so it'll restore.

    Can someone help? Much apprecaited !

    Wil

    Doh!

    Just figured it out.

    1) Create Back tp Disk folder on the NAS that the BKF resides
    2) Move the backup files there
    3) In Backup Exec 12.5 inventory followed by catalog
    4) Restore !
