Exchange 2010 - Email Templates
We are in the planning stages of implementing Exchange Server 2010 as our current email solution isn't suitable anymore, and I am keen to move to a far more professional and complete email solution. Anyway, I have been asked by my Line Manager to investigate the following possibility:
Is it possible to share Email Templates within Exchange 2010 as a default feature? The reason I ask is because SMT would like teachers to have access to a list of Email templates that will simply allow them to add a students name to the email and then fire it off. I know that you can create templates on a per user basis. I also know you can simply copy the templates to a shared location and allow the teachers to open the templates from there. The only concern I have there is that if they are accessing Exchange via a browser, they will be unable to open the templates.
Any suggestions and views would be greatly appreicated!

To use forms internally and if you have a Exchange PF server then it's fine. You can create your template/form and publish to the organisation. The all Outlook users can load the form in Outlook. However, from my experience, and I have just tested now. Users can't access forms from OWA. If you are using Exchange 2010, then I'd suggest that you may want o use Outlook Anywhere. This was users will be able to access the forms.

Thankyou very much for that. It's pointed me in the right direction and given me some reading to do. Great!

Just found the following on Technet:
Outlook Web App
In a mixed Exchange 2010, Exchange 2007, and Exchange 2003 organization, one of the Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007 Client Access servers has a virtual directory named /public. You can fully access public folders from Outlook Web App without having to use the /public virtual directory. In addition, the following public folder features are available in Outlook Web App:
* Full access to public folders on Exchange 2010 Mailbox servers without having to keep an Exchange 2003 Mailbox server available for public folder access from Outlook Web App
* Public folder search capabilities
* Web Parts support
