I don't use Outlook personally, but, is there an option to mark the message as not spam? And if so, is it not clever enough to then mark this email as a safe sender itself?

    Hi

Can you let me know if you are using Outlook 2010 in cached mode or online mode?

I'm assuming the mailbox used by the helpdesk system is on the Exchange 2007 mailbox server? (As no other Exchange Servers exisit)?

As Outlook Junk features and Exchange Anti-Spam features are independent of each other, this is where I believe some testing will need to take place.

Can you keep a copy of the email which was sent to the users Junk folder which we may need to use to reproduce the issue. Can you send the same email to yourself and see if this get's captured to your Junk email?

Can you confirm the the mailbox used by the helpdesk system is not hidden from the GAL?

Can you confirm the email address which appears to be sent from the helpdesk system matches the primary SMTP address of the mailbox used by the helpdesk system?

"In the helpdesk configuration, it asks for the name of your exchange server(s) and the mailbox to use, and then you can verify the connection, which I have done. That bit is working as the emails send."

The configuration of the helpdesk software, you say you specify the Exchange server to use and the mailbox to use. Does the helpdesk software actually logon to the mailbox and sends the message or not?

Did you also specify a SMTP Port in the helpdesk system software?

Does it use the mailbox only to receive emails from your users?

    Thanks
    S
