    Exchange Email Verification

Hello all, how do you guys protect high profile email accounts from random people? My CEO would like to have a list of pre-approved senders for her exchange mailbox. The catch is, she would like to have some type of sender verification to allow non approve senders to email her.

I'm thinking of something along the lines of Spam Arrest. Is there anything I can do locally on the exchange server, or some type of product that I can manage in house? I don't feel like pointing my MX records elsewhere for one or two mailboxes.

We're running exchange 2007 by the way.

    Thanks!

Just in case you don't have any luck at msexchange.org, you may want to post your question here. There's a user called Scorp508 who regularly posts there and is a senior admin on the AD/Exchange Team at Microsoft. He has helped me in the past with a couple of Exchange 2010 questions.

Can you not use Exchange rules to move the approved sender messages to one folder, and everything else to another? If you have decent spam filtering then very little spam should get through and then it'll just be a case of her checking the unverified senders box now and again? At least all her important mail will be visible right away.

Here is a good .net component to verify email addresses:
