    Upgrade SCCM SQL Instance

    Hi,

I have SCCM 2012 R2 running here. Its on a Server 2008 R2 SQL instance. Can I just simply upgrade the instance to 2012 or do I have to do anything special?

    Thanks

If you can make a copy of the database and upgrade that. That's my suggestion, not tried it myself but definitely worth backing up the database first.
