SCCM package to run a script?

    Hey guys,

Relatively new to SCCM and have a fairly simple question...

I have a VBS script I want to run on a number of machines using an SCCM deployment... how would I go about doing this?

I understand I need to create a Package, and include the VBS script in the 'source' folder... but how do I go about running this? Do I simply use "cscript xyz.vbs" when creating the program for the Package?

If not, how do I go about this?

    Many thanks

    Hi

yes if you do the following it should work for you

Create package same steps as software distribution and add the VB Script to the package and run using the command line : cscript "filename.vbs"

You can also have it as a application if you are feeling brave. You need a detection rule.

This is how we deploy a lot of our older software. Create a batch file and stick it in a package with the all required files etc. Works fine 99% of the time.
