Spam filtering for exchange
Hello chaps and chapettes,
I read a while back about microsoft offering a free spam filtering solution for educational establishments...albeit this was about a year ago, but is there still such a thing available to us?
....or did i have the wrong end of the stick altogether? I assume it was like microsofts exchange online protection system except I'm sure i read about something free for us....

I believe it was forefront online protection for exchange but they didn't actually mean to allow it free to education and then removed the entitlement.

But if you've EES have a chat to your MS licensing people, you probably are entitled via that.

Interestingly when I renewed in June it had been withdrawn... but my service is still active...

Yes - it was withdrawn as it was accidentally included with Forefront Endpoint client
