Exchange 2010, cannot remove server rules.

I have a user who has been trying to remove his Mailbox rules using outlook, has tried various methods including the outlook.exe startup flags to delete both server and client rules.
He cant get rid of them.

So I tried to remove them at the server level using:

    Code:
    Get-InboxRule -Mailbox <alias> | Remove-InboxRule
But they all fail with this error:

    Code:
MapiExceptionNotEnoughMemory: Unable to modify table. (hr=0x8007000e, ec=-2147024882)
    Diagnostic context:

Would this be a solution for 2010?

Delete Corrupted, Hidden or Stale rules from mailbox with MFCMapi | Exchange Server Share
@sukh would you recommend this ?

Yes, that's fine. That's how I normally do it.
