    can anyone tell me why if i go to my owa page and typing my domain/login name it will still continue to login ?

    you wanna know why when you log in it logs you in?

    yea i want to know why it logs me in as im sure that it shouldnt the only valid logins are domainname\username or username@domainname

    ahhhh, I see.

    I believe that basic auth works with forward and back slashes - if you switched to NTLM it would enforce the backslash usage
