Microsoft Forefront TMG
Hi all,
Just seen the news about TMG being discontinued and no longer sold with support lasting until 2020.
My question is, what other proxy/firewall solutions are there out there that will work with AD authentication as well as publishing services? Cheap and cheerful if possible. We have an EES agreement in place so this would have been the ideal solution for us given the pricing.
I have looked at smoothwall express, but because it only logs by IP I and not user, this might not be suitable for what we need.
Thanks

For firewall/web filter/NAT I was looking at the Meraki line of appliances

Yeh, I already have UAG as part of my licenses. But I would have to run 2 appliances to suit 2 jobs then when TMG would have done both? Seems a bit of a backwards step.
Meraki is nice but expensive as far as I can see.
