Exchange on Iphone
Hi
I have been asked to connect the heads iphone to access her emails on the schools exchange server. I have accessed the setup of exchange email on iphone and entered email address but it is asking for following details that I am not sure what needs to be entered :
Server
Domain
Would this be the schools details or the LGfL details.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi FN-GM
The exchange server is onsite at school, we use LGfL/Atomwide as our domain host

For server enter the public IP or DNS name of the exchange server.
You need to enable active sync on account in exchange.
What version of Exchange is it?

entered the details as you suggested and put in the public IP (it has a /exchange at end, do I need that?) also the domain ends .local again I have entered that. It then verifies and gives a tick against it all. I then go into the mailbox on iphone and it says cannot get mail, the connection to the server failed?
Thanks

The public IP address might not work when connected to internal WIFI.

Server = Your external web link ( eg mail.school.sch.uk) but dont include the https://
Domain = Your domain ( eg school.internal)
