    If it's "just" that one, it's only recently used. So can you just clear the recent used list? or does it keep returning?

    c:
    cd\
    cd %USERPROFILE%\Recent\
    del *.???.lnk
    cd\
    cd %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Re cent
    del *.???.lnk
    exit
    Think thats right

    I think once you clear the icon its gone. But the staff have local profiles so could do with a way to clear it automatically.

    It also shows on students mandatory profiles, but when the profile was made this software wasnt installed.

    Code:
    var fso = WScript.CreateObject(“Scripting.FileSystemObject”);
    var WSH = new ActiveXObject(“WScript.Shell”);
    var folder = WSH.SpecialFolders(“Recent”);
    fso.DeleteFile(folder + “\\*.*”);
    Should work if you change *.* to the name of the shortcut?
