Thanks for the files i knew i was missing something

even with the MST configured im still getting the same problem

it says its installing shutdownatron at startup but then doesnt

in event logs i get the following

"The install of application Shutdownertron from policy testingshutdown2 failed. The error was : The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it. "

This is using your latest version + the MST file listed here

Then there is something screwy with your deployment setup, which I can't help you with. Check file permissions and so on, try doing a local install to make sure it goes on without hitches.

local install works fine doing it manually with the MSI

I know my MSi deployment works correctly , as ive just installed AUP Informant server Via it.

Really cant pinpoint why this isnt working ?

Have i missed something

Added the MSI to group policy Software installation ... Its in the same folder as AUP informant server so permisions are correct , when setting it up i choose advanced and under the modfications Tab inserted the noconfig file.

But it Basically does the same.. ?

thanks for your responce

Luke

Tried at another site and worked fine .
Problem with Mine was The actual Shutdownatron didnt inherit all the permissions from the Share .
It only had system and administrator , which i would assume would work.. But didnt.

Thank for the help
