Just out of interest is everybody experiecing issues using the O2 Wireless Box?

As they have been rolling out updates recently and mine is the latest firmware - not sure if this is related to it.

Yeh that can turn up but it wont affect load speed (or shouldnt) as its async based js which runs at the same time. Not sure why woopra is trickling data yet and no mention of causes on their site. I do occasionally get that too.
Woopra FYI all is the same as google analytics but instant update rather then the 2-3 day approach google use.

Seems to be Be* DNS Server playing up.. Been having a few problems with other sites for the last week.

Switching to Google's DNS Servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 seem to fix the problems with this site and the others.

    Try OpenDNS:

    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

Has resolved for me (on Be).

Si I've just changed by box from O2/Be's dns to google and the problem has gone straight away.

You can't do it through the gui on the Router (enless the newer one is different) I followed this

    Also having issues with BE

Rebooting the modem gave 2 mins respite, but was probably fluke.

OK - I overode the DNS settings on my computer to use Googles 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

    No diff

Did an ipconfig /renew and now it seems OK

Actually I would say its gone from very bad to a bit poor - still not 100% reliable when clicking on posts but much much improved.

Is there anything we can run/do to try and track down(or even log) the issues?

I guess try a ping -t to EduGeek.net - The Front Page and see if you get any drop outs. I have never had the issue so I cant test it from my end and nothing obvious is wrong on the server.

There was something going on last night as we slowed to a crawl on SKY BB as well. Lasted about an hour. A friend in the neighbouring town with Talk Talk also reported issues.

It seemed to affect mainly UK sites.
