[CLOSED] Layout Issue: White Space

I'm getting a lot of white space on my screen, made worse by those people with pointlessly big signatures - the signature doesn't start until the end of the profile info box on the left - meaning that typically I'm only seeing two posts per screen.

I'm sure you can fix it, but in the meantime, is it possible to suppress signatures (or remove them permanently?!) or make the profile info smaller?

I think the profile info contains some stuff we don't need - "join date" is relatively meaningless, and "rep power" takes three lines: one for the coloured bar, one for the words "rep power" and one for the number.

Didn't think of that, thanks. It will take some time to trim everyone's signatures out, and it doesn't block the text-only ones, but it is definitely a good few steps in the right direction.

I still think the profile info takes more space than it needs to, though.

Or you could just turn sigs off....

Yeh, sadly its an all or nothing approach though.

Don't think that's a problem - to be honest, I'm struggling to think of anyone's signature which actually contains anything useful...

"rubbish" is subjective.
I'm old school web generation 1.0 raised on old (very low and expensive in some global corners) bandwidth friendly mail list netiquette where violations had consequences i.e. your mailbox exploded with protests. For me, all sigs are noise.

Signature spacing issue should be fixed now. If you see a similar issue please include the style you are using (listed on the bottom left of the page)

Not fixed with Dark Blue Tabbed. Your post there has 2 inches of white space between your message and your sig.

Its fine for me, try a close browser + shift refresh as I suspect its the css change being cached.

I am using light blue tabbed there is still a gap its just not as big.
