peak user count lower?

As per my previous post: New Peak User Record

The peak user count was at one point 581, how can it have dropped to 579. Was it reset for CRD?
If users get banned will it lower the record..?

Very confuzzled :S

as a matter of fact , i just had a very late night. had been up watching pretty woman until 4am! (awesome 80s soundtrack!) julia was just a bonus
