Maybe so - but at the same time not everyone posts when something fails. Some people are happy to let others complain for them.
Read this topic - woundered what you where all talking about, went back to main page........
and the add crashed my browser and media player both together. nice
@Localzuk: Just to add onto my last post...
Over 6000 members yet the poll option that has been on the home page for months has only had 114 responses. There is a possible option there for everyone so you can't tell me the poll is aimed at a select few. My point? If so few can be arsed to click twice on a mouse, then surely even fewer can be arsed to type something in a keyboard.
I Haven't even seen this ad yet so I must be one of the lucky ones.
Well got think time for response we have got ZH/IDG looking into the browser crashing issue.
Next over the Symantec advert as wholecurrently admins are discussing this we will see the Symantec advert through (only little longer then it goes).
At same time we are discussing if we ever do it again was gain worth it etc.
I think we had mixed response to it some didn't mind it some did but take all views into account.
Think if we lave it at that for know but please be assured we do take everyones view into account.

Just to add to it, im all for this fund raising scheme, but again its locked up IE for me, which made me cross tbh! I'd not have minded if it hadn't locked up but it did and I then lost what I was doing on other parts of the browser.
crashed mine too,
but it only does it when i have just used the "back" button.
bloody did it when i clicked submit!
Hmm this seems strange.
I have tweaked it again. I assume you are all still saying the advert which appears in the middle of the screen (not the posts advert in the first post).
That ad should only appear once per day (uses a cookie) so you shouldnt have multiple problems with it. I personally have not really had issues other then the positioning one with any browser I use.
As for the popup, I've not seen them either, but then I'm using Safari each morning to browse.
