25th June 2009, 09:04 AM #46 I have done another round of tweaks and maintence last night and also did some load testing. I am thinking this is pretty much as good as it gets for now. There is only a couple more things I can do without us getting another server and those things wont drastically boost performance I think.
Hopefully it will be better today.

25th June 2009, 02:25 PM #48 Great work ZH, this is the fastest the site has ever been for me in school or at home. It is actually now useable inside our network without lag rage. There are currently at 476 users online and is still responcive and renders fast and clean even on this old IE6 test box. Thanks for all your time and effort in optimizing the site for us all.

I still have a few things to go in that will make minor improvements but as long as the big settings are working well (apache/php/mysql etc) then its good.
