... is it just me, or has the Quick Links(?) menu gone from the header? (e.g. New Posts, Search etc.).

When searching for New Posts, we used to be able to go to Quick Links --> Mark As Read.

This seems to have vanished as of this morning.

Yep they have. I am trying to set something up but the minimenu has all the functions anyway.
I will be advertising it later properly.

I have added a little screenie menu to the old quicklinks shortcut to help explain where to look.
Hopefully this will help.
