Give it time. IE7 can take quite a bit to finish loading.
Take note of your status bar and you will notice it saying "Done" but then a few seconds later start loading other images. I did implement a work around for now but I am looking into the source of the IE javascript delay but its not something I think I can fix.
I implement a fix at launch which fixed a big problem with IE7 and its javascript.
IE6 may be similar although I have not checked yet (no IE6 here).

I find that you have to open the thread, then refresh it then it works on IE7 on XP SP2

Try this. Load a fresh page (aka not cached) images and then wait 30 seconds and then click a image. Does it work?

Does on both XP SP2 and Vista SP1 for me.
Some security packages do their own JS interpretation as well and this can have different effects.
Will try some tweaks later but I think I may just disable the mode for IE users if IE6 has the issue too.

Can you see if Ryan's joke thread works:

Got a hunch it may be to do with the attached images.

I'm having no problem with IE6 at school, however on IE7 at home yesterday I ended up using right click and opening the image in a new tab.

Yep, same here no problems in IE6.

I have disabled the new method for attached images as they seem the most problematic.
