    Ditto. Still a problem. It seems like the box which surrounds the avatar + PM info is too thin?

    Grrrr, I dont know whats different between you guys and me. I had to problems and my avatar is at the max dimensions and I tested it at 1024.
    Something must be different but all the browsers I use have no problems (IE7,FF,Opera 9.5)
    Does this happen on both the frontpage/news and the forums?

    It happens everywhere. My resolution is 1440x900 and also one machine at 1920x1200.

    Same problem on both.

    Afraid it's still broken for me too......

    Hmmm, Looking at the html source there seems to be some extra markup closing a table that is never started? Is the layout of the welcome / avatar box supposed to be defined with a table?

    HTML Code:
     <div class="main_login">
    <!-- breadcrumb, login, pm info -->

    <a href="usercp.php"><img src="http://www.edugeek.net/forums/images/avatars/old_geek/343_12528997214358cc4d9daa9.jpg" alt="Your Avatar" border="0" align="texttop"/></a>
    			<strong>Welcome, Iain.</strong><br />
    			<span style="font-size: 80%">Your last visit: Today at <span class="time">02:30 PM</span></span>
    		<br />
    			<span id="notifications"><a href="usercp.php">Your Notifications:</a> <strong>3</strong></span>
    			<script type="text/javascript"> vBmenu.register("notifications"); </script>

    			</td></tr></table>

    <!-- / breadcrumb, login, pm info --></div>
    I think the problem stems from the image being inline with the text, so as the text wraps onto the next line it is flowing below the image. Running a little test, it works for me if I add the following CSS:

    Code:
    .main_login img {
    float: left;
    }
    Hope that is of some help,

    Iain.

    I have implemented the changes. Never spotted the closing table tags.
    Hows it now?
