9th July 2010, 06:18 PM #1 Edumoodle Theme for Moodle 2.0
Some of you may remember that I created a moodle theme that matched the original Joomla EduGeek Package.
See here: EduMoodle Themes
Some of you liked it and even downloaded it and used it with your Moodle's.
For the record my server logs tell me the original EduMoodle theme has been downloaded nearly 20,000 times in the last 2 years!!!
With Moodle 2.0 fast approaching I thought it was the perfect time to upgrade the theme for Moodle 2.0.
Each night after work i've been busy making the required changes, as well as fixing some issues with the theme, and making some improvements.
Coninsidentally these changes happened to conincide with a Moodle Theme competition, winner gets an iPad and votes are generated by the Moodle Community. Also all themes submitted get to be included in Moodle 2.0 core!! <--Cool part
The competition is now closed and I entered the Edumoodle theme, you can take a peek at the new theme and its features here: Moodle 2.0 Preview Release 4
Currently I cant release a login so you can have a real play but as soon as the competition has been run i'll be making some bug fixes and releasing it here!

Those EduGeek Moodlers out there, i'd appreciate your time to vote.
Here are all the themes: Standards Based Moodle Themes: NewSchool Learning
Lookout for the Edumoodle theme and feel free to vote, dont be fooled by the other very similar theme.
Thanks!

12th July 2010, 03:47 PM #5 Thanks, hoping to make some improves based on feedback from the competition and seeing what others are doing with 2.0.
There are still some niggles with the theme engine in 2.0 which should be ironed out in the coming weeks.
Thanks for your support!

11th March 2011, 12:32 PM #7 When I install the theme, I can never go back to another theme, as the theme selector page becomes blank! I take it that this isn't a feature and wondered if anyone else has had this problem?
thanks

The various links to the edumoodle 2.0 theme seem to be down. Has the theme been withdrawn?

16th April 2012, 08:40 PM #9 We had problems with this, the blank page problem you was just on about, often you had to put the standards to ie7 for it to work for some reason. (logon page) we had to change to a different theme to solve this.
