Rep Power: 9 | Obviously there are differences between the two system but I have managed to create something which i think looks pretty respectable, but of course i would think that. I have tried to keep the changes to a minimum and based everything on the standard moodle theme and built on top of that. Attached to this post are a few screen shots which should give you a good taste of the theme, I will be releasing the theme as a zip file once I have cleared up the CSS, PHP and Images files and of course added some comments. Feedback greatly appreciated - are there any moodlers out there who are interested in this? |

Rep Power: 11 | Looking good, a would say a major thing that lets moodle themes in general down is the icons. Might be worth trying to find some nicer ones than the moodle defaults. Some possible available from here: famfamfam.com: Icons It's looking good, well done! Cheers Jona |

Rep Power: 9 | Icons currently in Dev, just making sure I have them all covered. Im probably going to use the icons from the esocratesorg theme, which can be downloaded from here: http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=40778 But with it being an older theme its missing one or two icons which i might just lift from FamFam. In the mean time i've just added a javascript slideshow to the main page (see new screenshot below). Took the idea from the Joomla plugin which SYSMAN_MK mentions in his blog: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/blogs/...hslidebox.html Last edited by danIT; 03-07-2008 at 05:44 PM.. |

Rep Power: 9 | As promised, and as the Moodle icons also look a bit tiresome in places I have replaced a significant number of them with icons from: famfamfam.com Really finishes the theme off - See screen shot below I might as well release the icon set as an Moodle Theme Icon Set once its all been completed. Famfamfam.com permission pending.... |

Rep Power: 11 | Looking good, 2 minor criticisms: Restore and import are next to each other and have the same icon which looks a bit weird/confusing. I also don't like the heads facing each other for the forum. We use a speech bubble type icon for ours, can send over if you like? Cheers Jona |

Rep Power: 9 | Unfortunately that's Moodle for you, both restore and import have the same icon. Only a code change would correct this, attached is a screen shot of the default icon set for Moodle. Also attached is an image of the new Forum icon, I still need to source one or two of the icons for the Modules in Moodle. |

Rep Power: 9 | Here are my updated Icons for the EduGeek Moodle Theme, Does any body know of a cheap Moodle hosting solution, I basically just want to showcase my Theme so im not interested in many people using the site as everything will be guest access. I would obviously need to have access to the server via SSH or FTP to update the theme on a regular basis? |

Rep Power: 11 | Could edugeek possible host it as it does for joomla? If not I can probably offer hosting so long as it doesn't kane bandwidth. |

Rep Power: 9 | I would need to be able to offer the theme for download, its a huge 1.2mb, and any traffic from Edugeek and the Moodle Themes page on Moodle.org. SYSMAN_MK did mention adding it as an EduGeek Project and hosting along side Joomla but its gone a bit quiet since EduGeek went down. |
