I have been sadly absent from Liam's server recently due to being ridiculously busy! But I can vouch for his knowledge especially in the trans-continental railway department

The server should be running now on minecraft.edugeek.net (default port) with a default install.

Essential reading: Minecraft Wiki - Minecraft Wiki

So far we have built a bit wooden shack in the sky with a massive shaft burying into the ground. From here there is a deep excavation leading to underwater lava pools and waterfalls along with a harbour on the coast. Look for the beacon that Zero made and you will find the back door to get in.

So...how is the world after I started that massive forest fire last night? Using a tree to pour hot molten lava on the mobs below wasn't the best idea of mine (though seeing every tree on fire for as far as I could see was quite pretty).

the wood will burn indefinitely needs chopping down.

I griefed a friend on my server who "accidentally" set my nice wooden house on fire. I know he logged off in his house so I replaced the floor with landmines.. (TNT with a pressure plate ontop) Oh the giggles I had.

A trap? For little old me? How thoughtful! This had better not start turning into a PvP server.
