Same here, can't wait for it. Maybe just upload "early beta" for now?

Waiting eagerly for this one![]()
Looking forward to seeing too.

I think you will be inundated with requests for the new 2.5 version as Joomla 1.5 is now End of Life. It is also becoming increasingly difficult to find a decent free template as most now have to be paid for, which is fair enough as it takes time.
Any joy with this yet Steve?
Just a tip for those of you waiting. I updated our Joomla 1.5 install to 2.5 using JUpgrade, but wanted to keep our customised template. I used a couple of guides, but this one was good How to convert Joomla 1.5 template to Joomla 2.5 template to help me convert the existing template. Still a couple of CSS quirks to work through, but pretty successful, and no need for a major redesign. Sadly had to let rokslideshow go, and Joomfish isn't ready yet.

Any news or mini updates available?
Hi,
I am trying to migrate from 1.5 to 2.5 at the moment. I used SPUpdate to transfer over the content because I kept getting undefined errors with jupgrade.
I've followed the guide posted by 3s-gtech above (thanks for that) and the axe template works, but there are a few glitches in the css that I'm not sure how to fix. The main difference is the vertical menu which loses the spacing, lines, and sub section indenting; but on the positive side still works.
Rokslideshow had to go, but I've managed to replace it with showplus which offers a similar slideshow component.
Akeeba backup and xampp have been really useful for this project. I even managed to get the usb version of xampp to work, so the old 1.5 site and the new 2.5 site can run, and be developed directly from my portable USB hard drive from different computers.
Hi Steve,
Has this template been released yet? Our web migration failed due errors in the config.php. We really need to get our site back up and were using the previous version of edugeeks template. Any update would be much appreciated. Cheers!
Are people still looking for this? If so I've updated the template and am willing to share
