Prevent editing of certain pages

Is it possible to prevent the editing of certain pages to users with editor or publisher permissions?

Reason is that teachers need to have ed/pub perms to update the site but I have certain pages that I don't want them to edit, one being the file upload page I created where someone managed to edit the page and delete all the code :/

If you design your site/pages with editable regions, They can only mess up the content in the region you specify as being editable.

Hmm, so is there a way of specifying an editable region in an existing page?

If you use something like dreamweaver or web expression you can define editable regions easily. Or if you want to manually add them I guess this page is what you want .
