creating a new news page
i've created seperate parts to my site for the school and sixth form, and want to create a news page for the sixth form. I have created a new section and category for it and have a working 'latest news' module which includes only the sixth form news (like i wanted). But when i click on the links, the articles just display inside the sixth form page, replacing the article that should be there. I'm not sure what to create to have the news articles load on thier own page, i would also like a news menu like the main one that can show all the news articles together too

Okay go to your menu manager and click the menu you need, then click add new menu item,
- from there go to section blog layout, this will be your all news items in that section. Using the skills you know edit the menu item and place it under sixthform. Make sure to assignt he section you want.
- from there go to catagory blog layout, this will be your drilldown through the news. Using the skills you know edit the menu item and place it under sixthform. Make sure to assignt he catagory you want.

p.s I'd take a look at your site, looks like your drop down is broken...

Thanks, that worked great,
Not sure what is wrong with the drop-downs, am trying to fix them at the moment. I'm meant to be replacing the old school site at 3.00!!
I have created seperate menus for them, and added the articles as menu items, not sure what i missed out?
