Someone puts a lot of time and effort into producing something that you want to use.. Normally this means you trade something of your own to obtain and use that... Why is it that when it comes to open source so many people suddenly decide that it should all be free? I doubt you'd all work at your jobs for nought after all...
Anyway... when it comes to stuff like this you have to figure if your time to learn how to adapt/tweak or design your own termplate vs' having someone else do the bulk of the work for you is worth £10 or whatever, or not..
Just to point out that I often do jobs on the side for nothing. Its just a part of human nature to be helpful.
Or am i wrong and most people are just out for themselves...

OpenSource is a way of thinking, that says (or this is how I take it) that the source should be avalable to the public for its modification. Then that person usually contributes back to the community, and the code is improved and developed.
Personally (although I don't blame people for charging) I take the view that anything Open Source or built upon a Open Source Project should be free. If you want to make money ask for donations or use advertising. After all if I download X program for free under a Open Source license, make one or two changes to the code, why should I now have the right to charge for it?
@DirtySnipe
I take that as a insult many people on this forum have helped you and others for free (and usually vice versa), we don't get paid to sit infront of this site.
If I wanted to make money I'd include this link before posting any useful information:LocalHosting Donation
