hi,
am trying to tidy up my home page, but have the title appearing on my welcome message. 'show title' on the welcome message article is turned off, but the word 'home' is still appearing above it. I'm sure this wasn't there originally and have spent a long time trying to get rid of it? Is this something simple I have over looked?
also any feedback on the site would be great, still a fair bit to go I know http://www.rydensschool.co.uk/
thanks

18th June 2009, 09:26 AM #2 Its the breadcrumb I think not the article title, you have it turned on.
Off the top of my head....Go to your module manager and selectivly apply it menu items (don't include the front page)?
P.S I hope you don't mind but i'd recommend moving that searchbar down a few pixels as it looks squished in the corner

18th June 2009, 12:54 PM #3 thanks, you pointed me in the right direction, it was in the breadcrumbs module, there is an option in parameters to 'show home' i just had to de-select it.
I agree about the search bar, have just been tring to move it, but no luck, tried changing the positions in module manager for search, but it didnt work, do you know how to change it?
thanks

18th June 2009, 01:51 PM #4 Hmm this put into your templates css file should work
Code:
.headerbg1 {
padding-top: 3px;
} Alternativley this one will work, but i try not to use relative positioning cuz it can foobar things up.
Code:
.headerbg1 {
position: relative;
top: -3px;
} p.s done off the top of my head so excuse school boy errors

22nd June 2009, 08:42 AM #6 Oh just a FYI but your onhover color change needs changing. As grey on white makes your links almost disappear.
oh and I may have selected the wrong class in your css try ".search" or "#mod_search_searchword" instead
