    Thank you for posting this. I have been in the IRC channel for joomla on freenode and still no update of the topic. I did say something to them about updating it lol. Once again thank you. I have one live site right now and several others that are in the works that would need this update.

    Being brand new to Joomla I'm still trying to get my head around many aspects of it. I downloaded the EduGeek Joomla package a month or so ago and now have it sitting on a remote server waiting to get up and running. The package I used is the edugeek-joomla-package-sysman_mk-v1.0 which is now running as a demo site at the school web page.

    Are there any simple instructions as to what I need to do to upgrade to the latest package please?

    I got the answer I was looking for at the Joomla Forum http://forum.joomla.org

    FTP'd the update to the site and it overwrote those files required.
