Being brand new to the EduGeek Joomla scene I'm having a go. So far (thanks to a lot of help and support from folks on EduGeek) I have the Joomla 1.5 package Demo Syman_MK up on my domain and have applied the latest updates.

I presume it's now a question of accessing the site and replacing the demo content with live content from the school. I'm a bit stuck though on where to go next - accessing the administrator set up and going to the Front Page Manager I get into the Welcome to EduGeek School page which allows me to replace content in the Welcome to section but I can't figure out how to access and replace content in the Demo EduGeek area.

Can someone give me a kick in the right direction please

How did you change the favicon I've tried but only the admin one has changed?

to change favicon, you need to replace the favicon file saved in the folder of the template you are using.

    For me it was > templates > axe_rescheek_red > favicon.ico

Grateful thanks to Ian Ambrose at Devizes School for pointing me toward an answer to my earlier question - (able to access the front page editor but unable to fathom out how to change the top of the page). Ian gently pointed out that I needed to access and edit the template!
