    1.0 templates with 1.5

hey ppl, I just setup my test site...Redirecting...
and was wondering if the 1.0 package templates will work with the new 1.5 ver.
I found an old thread with links to the old templates and want to try them out. I've seen some active sites that look nice with the older templates. Guess I could backup and try them out any answers though on this and maybe 'other' templates I can use is appreciated.

I know that you can turn on legacy mode in 1.5. Wether this will enable the use of 1.5 templates or not i don't know, but it makes sence though..

If you go into your backend admin, Extentions Tab, then go to plugin manager and enable system-legacy.

Then in the top right hand corner you should see Legacy 1.0.

Give it a go and let me know.

I have been having some trouble getting the new 1.5 template to work "the way i want" and the older templates seem to have a layout similar to what i want.
