    How can i create a border?

    I can't describe exacly what i want so i did a little moc up in paint:

    I want to have a coloured outer border (as above) and a plan center page, i haven't got a clue how to do it though.

    Any advice?

    Cheers.

    A search on this forum revealed this - so I did it as it seemed the best way to do it - but the border does not collapse very well.

    Remove the border and change the background colour of the main page to the colour you want should give that effect.

    Code:
    body{ background:#0066FF; }

    Hi Webman,

    I did this originally, but it didn't work and the page looked awful as the colour was visible between several of the elements.

    I want to try creating a wrapper as can be seen on this website:

    Education in South Wales

    I assume 'wrapper' is the correct term as it wraps the whole website in a blue rounded box but on top of the blue background.

    Evening Hodge,

    I'm not at my usual computer this evening (staying at parents in law's house) - but I'll get back to you. I think it came with CS3 which is on my other machine.
