    Need to extend horizontal menu

    The title says it all really. Where can I find the tag relating to the width of the horizontal menu container to stop items dropping down a line?

    Open template.css with your fav text editor and goto line 135.

    You will see the following code.

    Code:
    .headerbg21{
    	width: 300px;
    	float: left;
    	height: 93px;
    }

    .headerbg22{
    	width: 650px;
    	padding-top: 40px;
    	float: left;

    }
    Increase headerbg22 width to allow for the extra menu items while at the same time reducing headerbg21 width so the 2 equal 950.

    Thanks. That's where I was going wrong then. I was increasing .headerbg22, but not compensating by reducing .headerbg21.

    If you wanted to move away from fixed width things and take account of the fact that some users may browse with an increased font size which would break your fixed width boxes, you may find the
    Code:
    white-space: nowrap
    property as detailed at CSS White-space Property handy.

    Hello

    last time i saw this in css it wouldn't validate with the latest standards, never figured out why, I just deleted it as i'd rather the layout be iffy when text is sized up than it disappearing off the edge of the containers.
