upgrading problems
i had a joomla 1.0 install, i have since (via ftp) deleted it and installed the 1.5.3 and 1.5.4 installs.
But no matter which option i choose in the installation process i cant get the edugeek joomla sample sites to install. If i choose 'install sample data' i get a load of stuff from the joomla pages, if i dont, then i have 1 news item and no menus at all, a completely blank site i would have to create module etc from scratch.
i am with 1and1. should i delete the mysql database and start again? any suggestions?
