Image gallery not working - no pics

ive just uploaded joomla 1.5.3 (and then upgraded to 1.5.4) and the pictures dont show up. Usually there are scrolling/rotating pics of running, computers etc but they dont show up on my computer (or the ones at school)

However, trying it on two friends computers, the pictures show up fine. Are there some settings somewhere that need to be changed/adjusted?

Any ideas?

i updated flash and also re-uploaded the slideshow module/component and it seems fine now.
