    From what I can see, SINA dosent allow php msql websites to be uploaded.

    How did you all setup your school websites, are you with a hosting comapny and then phone internet provider in my case ngfl to point the address to the new host?

    thank you

    We host our php sites internally but use the SINA web space to store resources that we link to such as videos, downloads and large documents.

    I'd guess by using a meta tag inside the HEAD section of the HTML

    <meta http-equiv="REFRESH" content="0;url=http://www.the-domain-you-want-to-redirect-to.com">

    There are a few ways to do it:

    1. Point the "www" A record of the .sch.uk domain to point to the web servers IP address.

    2. Setup all the DNS records for the domain (i.e. email DNS records, as most schools host it in-house) and get the domain registrar to point the domains nameservers on the domain to the new host.

    3. Use a completely new domain and use some re-direction code (like kearton provided) to re-direct the sch.uk domain to the new domain.

    Most schools we host go with option 2.
