    Re: Edugeek Joomla Package Released

    Hi,

I really need help for this. I wanted to set it up for the school site. It has installed fine but it keeps saying at the admin backend when I logon "you must logon". It just goes in a loop.

I have already tried installing the new version from the joomla site but still get the same problem.

    Please help

The default username / password is admin/admin

This can happen if you are using domain masking. eg your actual domain is domain.sch.uk but you use domain.org.uk to access the site.

    Re: Edugeek Joomla Package Released

we use the url .sch.uk. I know the password is correct. It does not tell me the password is wrong. I can now get into the admin area. But when I edit something

It chucks me out and asks me to log in, like the session has expired or something

    OK.....

I ditched Ubuntu in favour of Fedora 8, Fedora always being my fav linux distro. Installed everything fine, all working, really quite easy!

Now, I'm sure this has been asked before, so apologies!

From the "administration" section, how do I change the "School Name", "He who dares.... Wins!" and the school logo?

    Thanks!!!!

@ MikeW - Looking good fella. Like the font resizing addition. Care to share?

@ StewartKnight - You nee to use the blank header header images included to create your own header image and then replace.

The resize works well in IE7, but in FF the site begins to break up when you enlarge beyond a certain point.

In the package there is a folder "Blank Headers" inside there is a layered psd file with all the different colour header images.

As I have said before I am currently revamping the site, and once finished will contain a downloads section with different versions of the template files (layerd PSD / PNG) But finding the time at the moment is tough.

    Re: Edugeek Joomla Package Released

I've altered the file, on the desktop of root.
How do I get the www/html to reflect the new header?
