    Its hard encoded into the html not the PHP as you will see I tweaked it for one of my sites to, well, promote me

    Go into it as administrator
    Template Manager
    Select the template you are using
    Edit HTML
    Scroll down to the bottom

    you will find the code in that box at the bottom.

    It probably won't make any difference but try replacing the code you have given with the code I gave you just to try.

    Also, silly question but is the date definately correct on your server (whichever hosts the site)?
