Text overlapping module
Hey Guys
Can someone please explain to me why my text is over/underlapping my right hand positioned module???? It's driving me crazy. I would be most grateful. Thanks
My website address that I am building is at:
stroudgprimary.gofreeserve.com
The offending pages are at Children's Centre section and also under Year Groups/Year 4
Many thanks
Paul

10th November 2008, 07:37 AM #2 I think its probably caused by the wide tables in both of those articles
Browsers try their best to resize tables but they can't squeeze quarts into pint pots

Thanks Simon
I suspected as much though I thought perhaps I had just cocked something up. Ok back to the drawing board then. I suppose the only option is to use narrower tables then.
Thanks again for the advice

Ok have resized table but there is still the same issue at top of page where text and menu were overlapping. This is not the case on other pages? Have I somehow managed to change the page parameters on this one? Ok ok forgive my lack of knowledge but all of this is new to me. Is there any way of ensuring that no content overlaps modules, menus and such???

11th November 2008, 07:41 AM #5 If the content isn't resizeable (such as a wide table or a large image) and its too big for the space then there's going to be problems
You could use a template that allows the right column to be pushed to the right (but that looks bad when it happens
)
Prob you best solution would be to change your right column modules over into the left column for childrens centre and year pages.

Thank you Simon
I will try switching module positions as advised.
