From here you can enable the GZIP Page Compression, this made a difference on the site I maintain. On the system tab you can also enable the cache, since as default I think its disabled.
To be honest, its loading ok for me. But at this time I suspect its running at its best.

Could it be something to do with the site it self? Or more of the technical setup? Eg the connection to the server?
